This is a Mandala in shades of green and blue on a textured green background. If you load the full resolution preview you can see the intricate details of this Mandala. I create my Mandalas from Fractals. The mathematical harmony of Fractals is pure beauty for me. A Mandala is a geometric pattern that symbolizes the universe and can be a spiritual guide for meditation.
About Irene Moriarty
I was born in Vienna, Austria. I was always fascinated by photography and art, but my career path led to writing first. In Austria I was a book critic and travel and culture writer. In 2007 I moved to Vancouver and brought my love for history and art to this modern, young and beautiful city. My interest in photography and the visual arts led to a new career. I work as a still photographer for documentaries and discover my new home town with my camera. In my digital paintings I express my fascination with colour and composition.
