Description
This is the little church of St. Anne in the village of Chuchuwayha in the Similkameen Valley in British Columbia, near the old gold mining town Hedley.
Chuchuwayha is a First Nations Reserve.
I took this photo quite a while ago on a trip from Vancouver to Lake Okanagan during one of the worst downpours I ever experienced. The clouds were clinging to the mountains, as you can see. The camera loved the rain, my shoes not so much. I had to throw them away after the trip.

Wonderful image! I've passed through Hedley a number of times and camped around there too. It's an interesting area!
Irene Moriarty replied:
Thank you, Peggy! Yes, there is still a "Wild West" feeling in the Similkameen Valley. And the scenery is gorgeous.
